Happy little hexies

Tuesday, August 1, 2017

Last night I made three happy little hexies for a quilt I'm making using one of gorgeous Di Ford Hall's new patterns.  I started it at summer school and I work on it monthly when I'm lucky enough to do a class with Di at Sewn and Quilted. I just need one more little 1/2" hexie flower and then I can add them to quilt.  I'm planning to show it to you at the end of each month.

Writing of Di, how divine is this fabric I bought from Di?  She used it in one of the quilts in her new book, Primarily Quilts 2, It's All About the Fabric.
Apparently the fabric is quite hard to track down , but while Di was in Europe she spotted some in a quilt shop  and bought the rest of the roll.  There was enough for four quilts and lucky lucky me  I got one of the bundles.

Di designs fabric for Andover and there is a great selection of free quilt patterns offered on the Andover website.
I love this design. Please follow this LINK to find the pattern
It features Di's magnificent fabric Bally Hall.  You can see it all HERE.

Hope you enjoying a wonderful and creative day
Love
